SharQ Sessions #8 has been live recorded at poppodium NIEUWE NOR Heerlen (NLD)

On Tuesday 9th of April it was time for SharQ Sessions Live #8 with OneWerd (USA), this is the second track that we have recorded with OneWerd.

This evening was all about HipHop, with headliner OneWerd from the San Francisco Bay Area and Brohlin Coumans from Roermond (NLD). The MC, Rapper, Spokenword Artist and podcaster has been making music since a young age but came into hiphop later in life. His fascination for words found it’s way out in several records and a lot of show. For the first time in The Netherlands he founds his way to hiphop city Heerlen.

Op dinsdag 14 mei 2019 namen we de negende SharQ Sessions Live op.

Tijdens deze live editie stond zangeres Merel Donders, aka EMMERELL, centraal.

De vurige Tilburgse zangeres wist de afgelopen periode indruk te maken op vele van ons door haar ijzersterke nummers en prachtige stem. Genoeg reden om haar eens uit te nodigen voor een SharQ Sessions Live, tevens haar eerste Limburgse show.

Poppodium Volt opende haar deuren voor ons en deze podcast is live opgenomen in de grote zaal van het podium.

We mochten het jaar openen in Poppodium Volt en nu vier edities later mogen we alweer terug komen! De eerste “return to” show, ditkeer met niemand minder dan Merel Donders’s EMMERELL!De vurige sing and songwriter uit Tilburg zal naar het zonnige zuiden afreizen om er een intieme set te komen spelen. Haar energieke en rauwe sound maar dan in een kleinere setting.Een geluid, persoonlijkheid en urgentie die om een podium schreeuwen. De muziek van EMMERELL is rauw, stoer en doordrenkt van bluesinvloeden. Iets dat je dus zeker niet wilt missen.En om de avond nog mooier te maken zal Eva Kroezen de support komen verzorgen!
